 If you prefer, you can also add a thin coloured border around the image as shown (Boat.4). 

To do this, click on the new image to activate it and then select Edit then Stroke and select the border style and colour you prefer from the dialogue box. 

Ok, so now you arrived at an image you are happy with - save it!

Make sure the new image is active by clicking on it and then save it as “name.jpeg”. or whatever your preferred format is. In this case I saved the image as “Boat.4. Jpeg”. 

Whatever you do always keep the original image exactly the same as it was when you first scanned it or downloaded it from your camera. If you do this you can always go back to the original image whenever you wish. 

This caution applies to every image manipulation you do whether resizing, adding special effects or whatever.

Always make a note of every stage of any image manipulation as you do it. You will never be able to recreate that wonderful result next time if you don’t.
